5 Axis Milling
IDC utilizes its four 5-Axis mills for extremely tight tolerance multi-axis positioning tasks, yielding large savings on complicated parts. These machines have positioning accuracies on the rotary axis to one arc second and are equipped with glass scales on all axes. Three of our 5 axis machines are housed in a controlled environment capable of +/- 1 degree F. Our most accurate piece has a coolant supply system capable of holding +/- 1 degree F.
